Live-Online Lessons
The COVID-19 crisis has affected our lives in many ways, including in-person lessons. This has pushed Mike Wong to continue to evolve his innovative teaching methods to include virtual piano lessons. With this method, the student experiences that same one-on-one specialized instruction using Zoom®. This instruction is admittedly not for everyone, but it has been shown to be very effective for certain situations and students, and extends the ability for Mike to reach more students with his creative teaching techniques to include nearly anyone in the english-speaking world.
Requirements for on-line piano lessons:
- A student that loves piano and wants to improve their skills.
- For younger students, in-home help may be needed from a parent or older sibling.
- A piano.
- Wideband Internet suitable for streaming video.
- A smart device or computer. For an enhanced online lesson, additional items incuding a webcam or second smart device and a tripod may be used.

Once it is safe to do so, in-person lessons will resume, but on-line lessons will continue to be available for those that prefer this method.
